Plovdiv police arrest drug dealer with over 1kg of amphetamine

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and placed in custody following a specialized police operation targeting drug trafficking near Plovdiv. The operation, conducted by the Criminal Police in coordination with Special Tactical Actions and Road Police, took place at the entrance to Plovdiv from the direction of Pazardzhik.

During searches of the suspect's vehicle and his residence in the village of Ivaylovo, authorities seized over one kilogram of amphetamine, approximately 58 grams of marijuana, and 58 grams of methamphetamine. Other confiscated items included an electronic scale, a mobile phone, and cash in euros. The total value of the seized narcotics is estimated at approximately 23,615 euros.

The Plovdiv District Prosecutor's Office has brought charges against the individual, and the Plovdiv District Court has ordered the heaviest preventive measure, pretrial detention.
