Plovdiv's PHILLGOOD Festival Attracts International Audience

The debut PHILLGOOD music festival took place in Plovdiv from July 24‑26, sharing the venue of the established Hills of Rock event. Organized by Fest Team, the three‑day festival featured headliners such as Marilyn Manson, Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter, Northlane, Last Train and House of Protection. Over a quarter of tickets were purchased by visitors from outside Bulgaria, indicating strong international interest.

On August 2, 2026, Bulgaria’s cultural calendar also included major concerts in Sofia and Plovdiv. The Prodigy performed an open‑air show at Vidas Art Arena in Sofia, while Portuguese gothic‑metal band Moonspell presented a symphonic concert with a 50‑member orchestra at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv. Additional regional events ranged from traditional folk festivals in Kotel and Burgas to family‑oriented activities along the Black Sea coast.
