Pluto TV announces new programming and ‘Double Feature Fridays’

Pluto TV has announced several new programming initiatives and content expansions. The streaming service is launching ‘Double Feature Fridays’ in partnership with ‘Entertainment Tonight’. This new weekly format will pair studio classics with new indie premieres, featuring original segments hosted by Emily Curl that utilize archival footage and behind-the-scenes interviews.

In its August lineup, Pluto TV is highlighting ‘AsiaManía’, a dedicated block of Asian action, martial arts, and drama cinema. The schedule also includes ‘Shark Week’ featuring various shark-themed films, and family-oriented content such as ‘PAW Patrol’ and ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’.

Sports coverage remains a key component of the service, with Pluto TV Deportes set to broadcast CONMEBOL Libertadores matches between Rosario Central and Corinthians. Additionally, the platform will continue to provide specialized UFC programming, including pre-shows and full events.
