Pluto TV programming and content expansion

Pluto TV has introduced several programming expansions and new thematic content. Initial announcements included the launch of ‘Double Feature Fridays’ in partnership with ‘Entertainment Tonight’, which pairs studio classics with indie premieres. The service also highlighted specialized blocks such as ‘AsiaManía’, ‘Shark Week’, and various family-oriented programming.

Following these updates, the platform expanded its offerings in Latin America and Brazil. This expansion included the addition of series like ‘Jane the Virgin’ and ‘iZombie’, alongside new thematic channels. Notably, Pluto TV launched a 24/7 official NFL Channel in Brazil and Latin America, providing news, analysis, and documentaries, though it does not broadcast live NFL games. Sports coverage also remains a focus, with the service broadcasting CONMEBOL Libertadores matches.

Building on its thematic variety, Pluto TV is significantly expanding its anime library by adding over 1,300 hours of content, specifically targeting the platform’s fastest-growing 18-to-34 demographic. This expansion increases access to English-dubbed versions of popular series, including the free streaming debuts of ‘One-Punch Man’ and ‘Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple’. The service is also broadening dub availability for established franchises such as ‘Naruto’, ‘Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon’, ‘InuYasha’, ‘Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead’, and ‘Captain Tsubasa’.

New on-demand titles with both dubbed and subtitled options include ‘Vampire Knight’, ‘Terror in Resonance’, ‘Mononoke’, and ‘Hikaru no Go’. Additionally, the platform plans to launch two new linear FAST channels in September: ‘It’s Anime’, focusing on English-dubbed content and simulcasts, and ‘Big A Anime’, which will feature acclaimed series and films like ‘Vinland Saga’ and ‘Dororo’.
