Transport incidents reported in Slovakia and Czech Republic

Several railway and transport incidents have been reported in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In Trnava, a passenger train (R 747 Ponitran) disregarded a stop signal and entered the path of a freight train. While no injuries occurred, the incident damaged two switches and caused significant disruptions to rail traffic between Nitra and Trnava. ZSSK confirmed that approximately 50 passengers were safely evacuated.

In another Slovakian railway incident, a technical failure caused the doors of a ZSSK motor car to fall off while traveling between Levice and Zvolen, leading to the cancellation of the service.

Regarding ride-hailing services, a woman in Bratislava filed a police report following a distressing Bolt ride. She alleges the driver attacked her, locked the vehicle doors, and seized her mobile phone. Bolt confirmed they are investigating the incident and cooperating with the police.
