POCO launches F9 Ultra and F9 Pro flagship smartphones
Xiaomi's sub-brand POCO has launched its new flagship smartphone series, featuring the POCO F9 Ultra and POCO F9 Pro. These devices are heavily optimized for gaming, utilizing the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a dedicated VisionBoost D8 chipset to achieve up to 185 FPS in compatible titles. The F9 Ultra stands out with a massive 8,050 mAh silicon-carbon battery, a 6.9-inch HyperRGB AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, and a 200MP main camera system. It also features a 2.1-channel audio system tuned by Bose, including an independent subwoofer.
The POCO F9 Pro offers a more compact 6.59-inch display and a 6,330 mAh battery, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chip. Both models support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Design elements include dynamic rear lighting on the Ultra and a luminous Aurora Green finish on the Pro.
Additionally, POCO is expanding its mid-range lineup with the POCO X8 and X8 Power. The X8 Power is notable for its massive 10,000 mAh battery and rugged IP69K rating, while the standard X8 features a 9,000 mAh battery. These models are expected to launch in markets like India with a focus on durability and long battery life.
