Poco F9 Ultra debuts with 8,050 mAh battery and premium specs

The Poco F9 Ultra, a new flagship from Xiaomi’s sub-brand, is drawing significant attention for its high-end specifications and massive 8,050 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery. The device features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 200MP main camera, and a rear subwoofer designed in collaboration with BOSE.

While the hardware is being praised for its performance and battery longevity, the device’s pricing has sparked debate. With early bird prices around €830, some consumers feel the cost is high for a brand traditionally known for the ‘flagship killer’ value proposition. Despite this, the Ultra model is currently outperforming its sibling, the Poco F9 Pro, in consumer popularity.

The phone features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display and an IP68 rating. While it is noted for being relatively large and heavy at 235 grams, its technical capabilities position it as a serious competitor to premium Android flagships.
