POCO launches F9 Ultra and F9 Pro gaming smartphones

POCO has introduced its new high-end smartphone series, featuring the POCO F9 Ultra and the POCO F9 Pro. These devices are positioned as gaming-focused handsets with flagship-level hardware.

The POCO F9 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and includes the VisionBoost D8 graphics chip, which utilizes artificial intelligence for frame interpolation. The F9 Pro utilizes a variant known as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series. Both models feature AMOLED displays with refresh rates of up to 185 Hz, though this high frequency is dependent on game compatibility.

Key technical specifications include 200 MP main cameras with optical image stabilization (OIS) and HyperCharge capabilities, supporting 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. The F9 Pro specifically features a 6.59-inch display, a 6,330 mAh silicon-carbon battery, and IP68 certification. In European markets, the F9 Pro is priced between approximately 899 and 999 euros depending on storage configurations.
