Poco launches F9 flagship series and water-resistant X8

Poco has launched its new flagship smartphone series, featuring the Poco F9 Ultra and Poco F9 Pro. The flagship Poco F9 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and includes a specialized VisionBoost D8 graphics chip. It boasts a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 185 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness capabilities reaching up to 10,000 nits in HDR areas. The device features a 200 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. It is equipped with a large 8,050 mAh battery supporting 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless charging.

The Poco F9 Pro offers a more compact 6.59-inch display and a 6,330 mAh battery, alongside a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2.5x zoom.

Additionally, the Poco X8 has been introduced as a mid-range option. The X8 features an IP69K water resistance rating, allowing for protection against high-pressure and high-temperature sprays, and includes an Underwater Mode for photography. It is equipped with a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, an 8,340 mAh battery with 67W wired charging, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor.
