POCO launches X8 series with 10,000mAh battery
Xiaomi's sub-brand POCO has launched the X8 series in India, featuring the POCO X8 and the high-end POCO X8 Power. The X8 Power is distinguished by a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 100W wired HyperCharge and 27W reverse wired charging, allowing it to function as a portable power bank.
Both models feature 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, 3,500 nits peak brightness, and protection from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. They are built for durability with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The X8 Power is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, while the standard X8 utilizes the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4.
Running on Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3, the devices are promised four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. In India, the POCO X8 starts at ₹29,999, while the X8 Power is priced starting at ₹35,999. The series has also seen availability in markets like Singapore.
