POCO M8 Power to launch in India on Aug 4 with 8,000 mAh battery

Xiaomi’s POCO sub‑brand confirmed that the POCO M8 Power will launch on August 4 2026 in India, sold exclusively through Flipkart.

The phone sports a 7‑inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits brightness, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, 6‑8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128‑256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 50 MP AI dual‑camera system, an 8 MP front shooter and a massive 8,000 mAh battery. It supports 45 W wired fast charging and 22.5 W reverse charging, and runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

Xiaomi markets the device as a power‑focused phone for gamers and heavy users, promising up to three days of typical use. Pricing is expected to start at INR 26,999 (about $330) with an orange colour option. Analysts note the hardware appears to be a re‑badge of the Redmi Note 17 for international markets.
