Podgorica Mayor discusses infrastructure projects with University of Montenegro

Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović met with a delegation from the University of Montenegro to discuss several urban development and infrastructure projects. Key initiatives include the Uni stan 3 project, which involves constructing a three-story garage with over 800 parking spaces near the University Park to replace existing temporary parking. Construction for this project is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year.

Other discussed developments include the revitalization of Tološka šuma, a significant green space within the university campus, and the construction of a new road, tentatively named Nova BB, to connect Bulevar with Ljubljanska Street. These projects aim to improve traffic connectivity and communal infrastructure as the university complex continues to expand.

Additionally, the meeting coincided with the 20th anniversary of the University of Montenegro’s Faculty of Architecture. Mayor Mujović emphasized the importance of architectural planning in shaping the quality of life for future generations and noted the need to align urban development with green agendas and spatial protection.
