Podkarpackie police undergo CBRN-E threat training
Police officers in the Podkarpackie region held specialized training in Rzeszów focused on responding to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRN-E) threats. The training included both theoretical and practical modules led by specialists, covering personal protective equipment and crisis management procedures.
During the event, 84 sets of modern personal protective equipment—including full-face masks, filters, and protective suits—were distributed to the Non-standing Mine-Pyrotechnic Reconnaissance Group. This equipment was purchased through the ‘Effective in Crisis’ project, which is funded by the Internal Security Fund for the years 2021–2027. The training addressed the increasing importance of drones in CBRN-E contexts and the impact of the current geopolitical situation on regional security.
