Podkarpackie police CBRN-E threat training

Overview

Police officers in the Podkarpackie region conducted specialized training in Rzeszów to prepare for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRN-E) threats. The training involved theoretical and practical modules regarding crisis management and the use of personal protective equipment.

As part of the session, 84 sets of modern protective gear—including full-face masks, filters, and suits—were distributed to the Non-standing Mine-Pyrotechnic Reconnaissance Group. This equipment was acquired through the ‘Effective in Crisis’ project, funded by the Internal Security Fund for 2021–2027. The training also highlighted the role of drones in CBRN-E response and noted the impact of the current geopolitical situation on regional security.
