Podlaskie Voivodeship launches 3.4 million PLN tourism voucher program

The Podlaskie Voivodeship is launching the ‘Podlaski Czek Turystyczny’ (Podlaskie Tourism Voucher) program to stimulate regional tourism during the autumn months. The initiative features a total budget of 3.4 million PLN, funded by 1.9 million PLN from the regional government and 1.5 million PLN from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

Eligible participants include all adult Polish citizens residing in the country, with a particular focus on seniors and Large Family Card holders. The program will be implemented in three separate rounds, with electronic codes being generated on September 1, October 1, and November 2. Each voucher provides a 300 PLN subsidy toward accommodation.

To support the local hospitality industry during low-occupancy periods, tourists must book a minimum of two consecutive nights at participating facilities, such as hotels, guesthouses, or agritourism sites. The program aims to boost the local economy and support the tourism sector amidst current inflationary pressures.
