Pogoń Szczecin defeats Korona Kielce amid referee controversy

Pogoń Szczecin secured a 2-0 victory against Korona Kielce in the PKO Ekstraklasa, marking their third consecutive win and extending their unbeaten league streak to eight matches. The scoring was opened just before halftime by 19-year-old Maciej Wojciechowski, who scored his first goal in the league following an assist from Paul Mukairu. Mukairu later added a second goal in the 86th minute to seal the win.

Following the match, Pogoń Szczecin owner Alex Haditaghhi criticized the officiating, labeling the performance of referee Piotr Lasyk and his assistants as a ‘total farce’. Haditaghhi accused the officials of systematic bias and discrimination against the club, stating on social media that the refereeing was among the worst he had seen in years.
