Pogorzela municipality introduces free 240‑liter glass containers

Beginning 1 July 2026, the Gmina Pogorzela will replace the existing green bag system for glass waste with free 240‑liter green containers that have a white lid. Each container is assigned to a specific property and must remain on the premises if the occupant moves. Glass will be collected from these containers once every two months according to the municipal waste‑collection schedule published on the KZRGL website.

The change is part of the municipality’s waste‑management plan and aims to improve recycling efficiency while eliminating the use of green bags.
