Pokémon Pokopia adds Dive move and Bubbly Basin DLC in 2.0.0 update
Nintendo released version 2.0.0 of Pokémon Pokopia for the Switch 2 platform on 4‑5 August 2026. The free update introduces the Dive move, letting players explore underwater environments, and expands the Build specialty so houses can be constructed beneath the sea. New gameplay elements include a portal pod, a safe, five additional hair colours, new emotes, a dynamic Ditto‑print pattern, bulk item transfer between storage and bag, and options to delete items placed in containers and reduce motion‑sickness.
Simultaneously, the first part of the Expansion Pass – the Bubbly Basin (also called Fondale Bolleblub, Cuenca Coralina) – was launched as paid DLC. It adds an underwater city populated by new Water‑type Pokémon, floating building blocks, water‑specialty Pokémon that power machines and grow watermelons, new furniture, recipes, a Sharpedo‑inspired submarine, and upgrades to the Surf move. The free 2.0.0 patch also introduces the mythical Water Pokémon Manaphy, which teaches the Dive move, and provides numerous quality‑of‑life fixes and bug corrections.
