Overview

Version 2.0.0 of Pokémon Pokopia launched on 4–5 August 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, adding the free Dive move, underwater building tools, and a suite of QoL features. On 10 September 2026, The Pokémon Company revealed details for Part 2 of the Expansion Pass, scheduled for a winter 2026 release. This update will introduce new Pokémon such as Doduo, Skitty, and Braixen, along with new town furniture and accessories for Ditto and other Pokémon, including sunglasses, bowties, and a ‘Sylveon-styled ribbon’. Part 3 is expected in 2027.

As of mid-September 2026, the game has surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide.
