Pokémon celebrates 30th anniversary with brand collaborations

Various brands are launching special collaborations to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise.

Polaroid has released a Pokémon-themed collection featuring instant cameras, special-edition film, and accessories. The lineup includes the Polaroid Now Generation 3 inspired by Poké Balls, and the Polaroid Go Generation 3 in Pikachu and Sylveon designs. Pre-orders are available for a full release in October.

Krispy Kreme is introducing a limited-edition doughnut collection. In South Australia, the collection features six character-inspired creations, such as Bulbasaur and Pikachu doughnuts, each topped with a collectible piece. In Mexico, the collection will be available from August 28 to October 1, 2026, featuring flavors like mango and chocolate.

Best Buy is hosting Trade & Play events at select locations on August 29, 2026. The event includes giveaways of trading kits, Bandai Pikachu Model Kits, and branded folders to celebrate the franchise's milestone.
