Through the Pokémon Center Online, the company is testing a requirement for users to use the government’s Digital Authentication App. This system utilizes the ‘My Number’ civil identification card to create encrypted digital signatures, linking player accounts to real identities to prevent the mass creation of fake accounts used by speculators.
