Pokémon Pokopia announces Halloween event featuring Pumpkaboo

Pokémon Pokopia has announced a special Halloween event titled ‘Pumpkaboo’s Candy Collection’, scheduled to run from October 17 to November 1. The event introduces the Pokémon Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist to the game.

During the event, players can participate in a ‘midnight festival’ by using the ‘Imitator’ ability to transform into various objects. By surprising other Pokémon in the game world, players can collect ‘Pumpkin Candy’. This currency can be exchanged at the Pokémon Center for themed furniture and items, such as Halloween pumpkins and spooky trees, to build habitats for the new Pokémon.

Participation requires version 2.0.1 of the game. Additionally, following the release of the first DLC, ‘Blubbmeeria’, a second expansion focusing on cosmetic accessories for Pokémon is expected to arrive by the end of 2026.
