Pokémon Pokopia Dive Ability Unlock Guide

The free 2.0 update for Pokémon Pokopia adds the Dive ability, which lets Ditto move freely underwater. To unlock Dive, players must first install the update, have Surf unlocked, and reach Bleak Beach level 5. After speaking with Professor Tangrowth, they can surf to a small offshore island, feed Manaphy five seaweed, and receive the Dive skill directly from Manaphy.

Dive is treated as a traversal ability rather than a traditional HM, and it does not require the paid Expansion Pass. The pass is only needed to access the new Bubbly Basin region. Controls for Dive involve holding the B button to swim, with R and L adjusting depth and ZL to hover.
