Pokémon Pokopia introduces Bubbly Basin expansion and Johto content

The Pokémon Pokopia expansion, titled ‘Bubbly Basin’, introduces underwater exploration to the game. Players can access this new area through Bleak Beach after completing all ‘Important Requests’. Upon reaching a friendship level of 5, players encounter the legendary Manaphy, who grants the ‘Diving’ ability. This skill allows for unrestricted movement beneath the sea surface, enabling new vertical gameplay for both exploration and building.

Following a social media post from Nintendo featuring Cyndaquil and Professor Elm’s house, speculation has arisen regarding the Johto region. While some fans interpret the imagery as a hint toward Pokémon Gold and Silver, the visual evidence suggests that the Pokopia expansion may simply include a new area set in Johto rather than a standalone game release.
