Pokémon Pokopia launches Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises Halloween event

The Pokémon Pokopia Halloween event, titled ‘Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises’, is currently live. Running from October 17 until November 1 at 4:59 a.m. local time, the event allows players to interact with the Pokémon Pumpkaboo and potentially befriend Gourgeist.

Players can collect a special event-only item called Pumpkin Candy by using the Camouflage mechanic. This involves disguising oneself as a Pokémon’s favorite item or habitat component to surprise them. Once a Pokémon notices the disguise, players can earn between one and three pieces of Pumpkin Candy.

The collected candy can be traded at the Pokémon Center for midnight festival-themed furniture and decorations. Additionally, players can use these exchanged items to create specific habitats designed to attract and befriend Gourgeist.
