Pokémon Pokopia receives version 2.0.1 update for Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have released version 2.0.1 of Pokémon Pokopia for the Nintendo Switch 2. This maintenance update focuses on resolving technical issues and improving game stability following the major 2.0.0 update released in August.

Key bug fixes included in this patch address several critical issues: a glitch causing the legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh and Lugia to repeatedly fall and reappear; a Pokédex search error that prevented certain Pokémon from being found; and an issue where the relocation kit could not be collected. Additionally, the update resolves technical problems such as looping sound effects, game freezes, and players getting stuck on loading screens.

Users must install this update to access online features, and all players must be on the same version for local communication. Separately, Nintendo announced that the second part of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass is scheduled for release this winter, which will introduce new accessories and additional Pokémon.
