Pokémon Pokopia surpasses 5 million copies sold

Pokémon Pokopia has officially surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide within four months of its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. The life simulation game, which focuses on creativity and cooperation rather than traditional battle mechanics, has become one of the most acclaimed titles of the year.

In celebration of the Italian Grand Prix, players within the Italian community, including content creator Gidano and the Animal Crossing Life community, used the game’s customization tools to digitally recreate the Monza National Circuit. This creative initiative follows previous in-game recreations of Italian landmarks such as the Colosseum and the Rialto Bridge.
