Pokémon Sleep announces Halloween 2026 event and new Ghost-type Pokémon
Pokémon Sleep has announced its Halloween 2026 event, titled “Double Candy Research,” which is scheduled to run from October 26 to November 2, 2026. The event features an increased encounter rate for Ghost-type Pokémon and introduces new arrivals, Misdreavus and Mismagius, alongside a special Eevee wearing a Halloween hat.
During the event, players can earn double the usual amount of candies from their first sleep research each day between October 26 and October 30. On Halloween (October 31) and the final day (November 1), candy gains from the first sleep research of the day will be tripled.
Additional gameplay bonuses include Ghost-type helper Pokémon providing an extra ingredient, a 1.25x increased chance of triggering main skills, and a three-level boost to those skills upon activation. Snorlax will also favor Bluk Berries during this period.
Separately, the Pokémon Center has launched its “Winter Night Sky” 2026 holiday collection. The merchandise line includes festive apparel, seasonal home decor, plush toys, and accessories, currently available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with upcoming releases planned for the U.K. and Germany.
