The Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion titled “Ruler of the Skies” debuted on 30 July 2026, bringing the Mega‑Rayquaza ex card and a host of new Pokémon cards to the mobile game.

The set features seven hidden “secret missions” that unlock once players collect specific groups of cards—ranging from common cards to Full‑Art, Rainbow‑rare, and ultra‑rare pieces. Completing a mission rewards players with magic hourglasses and store coupons. Sample missions include “Legends of the Hoenn Region” (collect Rayquaza, Mega‑Rayquaza ex, Kyogre and Groudon), “Pokémon at the Harbor” (Staryu, Carvanha, Wattrel Full Art), “Spending Time in the Park,” “Back‑Alley Pokémon,” and two museum challenges that require full collections of designated Full‑Art and Rainbow cards.
