Pokémon TCG Pocket announces Deluxe Pack: Mega expansion
The Pokémon Company has announced the release of the ‘Deluxe Pack: Mega’ expansion for the mobile application Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. The limited-time event is scheduled to run from September 29/30 through late October 2026.
This expansion serves as a collection of previously released cards from the ‘Mega Rising’ and ‘Ruler of the Skies’ sets, including all four-diamond rarity cards. Each four-card booster pack is guaranteed to contain at least one Pokémon ex card. The set will also feature new illustrations and parallel foil designs, with prominent cards including Mega Charizard X ex, Mega Altaria ex, and Mega Lucario ex.
A major update planned for late October will introduce several functional changes to the app. These include a ‘community decks’ feature that allows players to view and replicate public decks, as well as a new system for renting decks from the latest booster packs for unlimited use. Additionally, the update will rework the step-up battle mode and retire several existing features.
