McDonald's Japan announces new Happy Set collaborations and seasonal menu items

McDonald's Japan is launching several themed Happy Set promotions and seasonal menu items. Starting August 21, the third phase of the Pokémon Happy Set is available, featuring 30 different Pokémon toys to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary, including a mini ecology encyclopedia.

Upcoming promotions include a collaboration with the character Puppet Sunsun, featuring original sticker sets, beginning August 28 for approximately two weeks. Additionally, a Happy Set featuring the popular picture book series 'Pan Dorobou' will also launch on August 28, offering sticker books designed to encourage imaginative play.

On the food side, McDonald's has introduced a 'Shakashaka Potato Nori-shio Seasoning' for 50 yen, allowing customers to flavor their fries with seaweed and chili. The company is also running a 'Tokuninarudo' campaign through August 28, offering discounted medium and large fries.
