Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket to launch new series in October 2026

DeNA, Pokémon, and Creatures Inc. have announced that the mobile application ‘Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket’ will launch a new series in October 2026.

The upcoming series will introduce ‘dual-type’ Pokémon cards, which feature a unique design where the card colors differ on the left and right sides to represent two distinct types. This mechanic is intended to allow players to exploit weaknesses more effectively and benefit from a wider range of Trainer cards.

Additionally, the update will feature ‘Pokémon ex’ versions of basic Pokémon, such as Fuecoco and Piplup, providing more powerful options for players. The new series aims to enhance gameplay through these more impactful and visually distinct card types.
