Part of situation: Pokémon UNITE service termination (2 clusters)

Pokémon UNITE to end service on March 23, 2027

Pokémon UNITE The Pokémon Company TiMi Studio Group MOBA service termination

The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studio Group have announced that service for the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Pokémon UNITE will officially end on March 23, 2027. The shutdown will affect both the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions (iOS and Android).

Effective immediately, the sale of Aeos Gems, the game's premium currency, has been suspended. New UNITE Club memberships and automatic renewals have also been discontinued, though existing members can continue to use their benefits until their current subscription period expires. Players holding Aeos Gems may still spend them until the service termination date.

To commemorate the game's conclusion, a special update is scheduled for November 12, 2026. This update will include a farewell event where players can earn Unite Coins to exchange for various in-game items, such as Holowear and Unite licenses. Additionally, a “Library” feature will be introduced, allowing players to download and preserve their personal game records and achievements to view after the servers close. Users must complete this download before the March 2027 deadline to retain access.

The competitive scene will conclude with the Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 tournament in Tokyo. Regional qualifiers are set to begin on December 5, 2026, leading to a grand final in March 2027 with a total prize pool of $1 million.
