Driving schools charge between 4,400 zloty and 4,950 zloty for a manual‑transmission course, with premium or express programmes pushing prices toward the 6,000 zloty mark. Examination fees at the regional transport office total 286.97 zloty for the theory and practical tests combined.

For vehicles lacking a valid technical inspection in 2026, fines range from 1,500 zloty to 5,000 zloty, depending on the circumstances and the vehicle's condition. Police may also impound registration documents electronically. A tow truck is only deployed if the car presents a serious safety hazard, such as defective brakes or lights; otherwise the driver receives a fine and must arrange an inspection promptly.
