Poland agricultural guidance: cereal sowing and microbiological use

Agricultural practices in Poland are focusing on optimal timing for winter cereal sowing and the effective application of microbiological preparations. Due to varying agrometeorological conditions across the country, Poland is divided into six macroregions for sowing recommendations. The earliest sowing occurs in the Podlasie region, while the latest is recommended for Lower Silesia.

Regarding post-harvest management, the use of microbiological preparations on crop residues is highlighted as a method to improve organic matter balance and nutrient availability. For effective results, applications should be made directly to straw immediately after harvest, followed by light incorporation into the soil. Long-term regular use of these preparations has shown measurable benefits in crops such as sugar beets, specifically regarding polarization levels.
