Poland allocates funds for university accreditation and youth employment
The Polish government has announced several funding initiatives aimed at education and youth employment. Over 15 million PLN will be allocated to Polish universities to help them obtain international accreditations and quality certificates. Funded by the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 program, this initiative seeks to increase the global competitiveness and attractiveness of Polish higher education institutions. Applications for this support are open until June 30, 2028.
Additionally, the Labor Fund's financial plan for 2026 includes more than 1.7 billion PLN dedicated to supporting the employment and training of young workers. These funds are intended to reimburse wages, subsidize training costs, and cover vocational examinations and graduate internships. Employers hiring young people for vocational preparation can receive specific subsidies, such as up to 13,394 PLN for training costs over 36 months, or 250 PLN monthly for hosting internships for underage graduates of industry schools.
