Poland implements regional funding for childcare and disability support

Various regional development initiatives are underway across Poland, focusing on childcare, sensory development, and support for persons with disabilities.

In the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, 24 nurseries will receive approximately 1.7 million PLN to equip sensory rooms with therapeutic tools such as sensory paths, tunnels, and trampolines. This funding, which can cover up to 90 percent of costs, aims to support neurological development in young children.

Similarly, in the Małopolskie Voivodeship, 39 nurseries and children's clubs have been granted over 2.2 million PLN through the ‘Active Nursery’ program. These funds are intended for sensory and motor activity equipment, including climbing steps, foam balance beams, and musical instruments.

In the Podlaskie Voivodeship, one million PLN is being allocated to ten Vocational Activity Centers (ZAZ). This investment will fund vehicle purchases and equipment to improve working conditions and promote professional independence for individuals with disabilities.

Additionally, the new ‘Stacyjkowo’ nursery has officially opened in Jeleśnia, providing modern playrooms and qualified staff for the local community.
