Poland and Belgium deepen horticultural and cultural ties

In June, the Polish Association of Horticultural Centers (PSCO), together with the Belgian Embassy and the Belgian horticultural promotion agency Vlam, organised visits for representatives of Flemish plant growers to several PSCO centres. The programme showcased Belgian plant producers, facilitated direct business discussions and aimed to lay the groundwork for future trade cooperation. The Flemish guests highlighted the professionalism of the Polish hosts and expressed optimism about long‑term commercial relationships.

Separately, a Polish podcaster, invited by the Representation of Flanders in Poland and the Baltic Countries, toured Flemish museums, including the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, as well as sites in Bruges and Ghent. The podcast series presents four micro‑histories of Flemish art, featuring works by Jan van Eyck, Hans Memling and Peter Paul Rubens, and promotes the region as a valuable yet under‑visited cultural destination.
