Polish municipal cross‑border partnerships

In late July 2026, Polish local governments broadened their network of European partners. A delegation from the gmina Przelewice visited Schönbeck, Germany, to extend an existing partnership and discuss cultural, economic and tourism projects, while a separate team from Gmina Masłów travelled to the Hungarian town of Börcs for a football tournament and tours of local infrastructure, emphasizing long‑standing Polish‑Hungarian friendship.

Two days later, Poland deepened ties with Belgium. The Polish Association of Horticultural Centers hosted Flemish growers for visits to Polish horticultural sites, aimed at fostering commercial cooperation in the plant sector. In parallel, a Polish podcaster, supported by the Representation of Flanders, toured Flemish museums and produced a series on Flemish art, promoting cultural exchange and tourism.
