Poland and France Warn of Russian Provocations, Cite Hybrid Warfare Threats

Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski told a joint press conference in Warsaw with French Foreign Minister Jean‑Noël Barrot that Poland has reliable intelligence that Russia is planning new provocations. He said Moscow is conducting a hybrid war against Poland and France, including cyber attacks, mapping critical infrastructure, arson, railway sabotage, drone strikes and dispatching death squads to eliminate opponents of President Putin.

The officials said the public warning is intended to deter Russia from carrying out such actions. Sikorski also announced that the “coalition of the willing” supporting Ukraine will reveal major decisions in Paris on Monday, following a pledge of continued political and military assistance.
