Poland begins construction of Tyczyn and Trląg bypass roads

Poland has officially started two regional road bypass projects. In Tyczyn, a 1.79‑km stretch of provincial road 878 was inaugurated, with a total cost of nearly 57 million zlotys. The investment, supported by over 15 million zlotys from the Government Road Development Fund, includes a modern pedestrian and cycling path and is scheduled for completion in August 2027.

In Trląg, under Inowrocław County, a new bypass of provincial road 255 was contracted to Transpol Lider for more than 20 million zlotys. The bypass will divert heavy traffic from the town centre, reduce road‑related building damage, and feature a 7‑metre‑wide carriageway, hardened shoulders and engineered intersections. Construction is also expected to finish by the end of 2027.
