Poland boosts electric vehicle charging with home installations and cheap fast‑charge rates
The spread of electric‑vehicle (EV) charging in Poland is moving from a niche hobby to a mainstream necessity. A sponsored guide outlines how homeowners, apartment blocks and businesses can install private wall‑box chargers safely and in compliance with EU regulations, offering options from 7.4 kW to 22 kW and highlighting the benefits of faster charging, energy monitoring and integration with photovoltaic systems.
At the same time, charging network operator ChargeIn has launched a summer promotion, pricing fast‑DC charging at just 1.79 zł/kWh at three locations – Trzebiatów (150 kW), Głuchołazy (130 kW) and Sierpc (50 kW) – while all its AC stations also charge at the same low rate. The promotion aims to make long‑distance and daily EV travel more affordable during the holiday season.
