Poland expands education support with teacher training program and 300 zł child benefit

The Dolnośląski Ośrodek Doskonalenia Nauczycieli in Wrocław, together with the Ośrodek Rozwoju Edukacji, will hold free five‑hour workshops for teachers on the new "Reforma26 – Kompas Jutra" curriculum on 24 June 2026. The training targets teachers and staff of teacher‑development centres and includes a competition for classroom nature‑themed lesson plans.

From 1 July 2026 the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) will accept electronic applications for the "Dobry Start" benefit for the 2026‑27 school year. Eligible families receive a one‑time payment of 300 zł for each child in education up to age 20 (or up to 24 for children with disabilities), regardless of income. Applications submitted in July or August are paid by the end of September, with a final deadline of 30 November 2026.
