Poland intensifies civil defense and emergency response training

Various regions across Poland are conducting extensive training exercises to enhance civil defense, emergency response, and public safety. In Gryfino, emergency services including police, fire, and medical teams simulated a chemical threat involving a suspicious package at a district office to test evacuation procedures and inter-agency cooperation.

In Bydgoszcz, authorities are launching a series of free public workshops focused on civil defense, covering topics such as recognizing alarm signals, evacuation protocols, and first aid. Local officials emphasize the importance of community resilience and individual preparedness for crisis situations.

Security training is also being extended to educational and professional sectors. Schools in Tomaszów Mazowiecki are conducting evacuation drills for air threats, while teachers in Tarnobrzeg are receiving self-defense and intervention training from police experts. Additionally, anti-terrorist training involving various specialized units was held in Braniewo to improve response capabilities to criminal terrorism.
