Poland extends KSeF e-invoicing penalty grace period to 2027
The Polish Ministry of Finance has announced an extension of the grace period for penalties related to errors in using the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) until December 31, 2027. This decision follows requests from entrepreneurs, industry organizations, and tax experts during the phased implementation of the system.
While the use of KSeF will become mandatory for all entrepreneurs starting January 1, 2027, the postponement of penalties aims to provide businesses with additional time to master the system and adjust their business processes without the risk of financial liability for mistakes. Finance Minister Andrzej Domański stated that the move responds to market needs and allows for the continued pace of tax system digitalization while increasing implementation security.
