Poland greenlights new sections of S19 and S10 expressways

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) issued a construction permit for a 12.3‑kilometre stretch of the S19 expressway between Czarna Białostocka and the Białystok North junction in Podlaskie. The project, valued at 347.7 million zł and undertaken by contractor Unibep, is slated for completion in 2028 and includes upgrading the existing bypass to full expressway standards.

In the West Pomeranian region, GDDKiA also granted permits for all seven sections of the S10 expressway linking Szczecin to Wałcz. The roughly 100 km route will feature the longest and most expensive segment, a 19.6 km stretch between Suchań and Recz costing 667.5 million zł, built by the Kobylarnia‑Mirbud consortium. The remaining sections, with various contractors, are scheduled for completion by 2028, expanding the east‑west high‑speed corridor that will connect major ports with the Warsaw metropolitan beltway.
