Poland hosts cultural events celebrating architectural and family heritage

Poland is hosting several cultural events focused on historical and architectural heritage. The 4th edition of the Wooden Architecture Days took place over two weekends in August 2026, spanning eight voivodeships. The event highlighted the diversity of wooden structures, including temples, villas, mills, and industrial buildings, while connecting local communities with craftsmen and conservationists.

Additionally, a national scientific conference titled ‘Potoccy z linii radzyńskiej: literatura – kultura – działalność publiczna’ will be held from September 16 to 18, 2026, at the Potocki Palace in Radzyń Podlaski. Organized by the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the city of Radzyń Podlaski, and the Wilanów Palace Museum, the conference will feature nearly 30 presentations. The sessions will explore the biography of the Potocki family founders, their intellectual influence, and the material history of the palace.
