Poland hosts free health events in Ustroń and Legionowo promoting preventive care

On 20 June 2026 the Centralny Klub Pacjenta took place in Ustroń, offering free medical advice, preventive examinations and fitness activities. Partners such as Medtronic, Abbott and the American Heart of Poland showcased therapies for heart rhythm disorders, varicose veins and diabetes, while athletes Robert Korzeniowski and Władysław Kozakiewicz demonstrated proper exercise techniques. The event marked the final stage of modernising the Ustroń health resort and was open to all residents and visitors.

Two days earlier, on 18 June 2026, an interdisciplinary oncology conference titled “Onkologia – Droga do zdrowia” was held at the Starostwo Powiatowe in Legionowo. The forum presented current oncological care standards, epidemiological data and rehabilitation strategies. Free screenings—including PSA tests for prostate cancer and CA‑125 for ovarian cancer—were offered, alongside physiotherapy, psychological and dietary consultations. The conference aimed to foster a regional model of comprehensive cancer care in Mazovia.

Both events underscore Poland’s focus on preventive health services and community engagement with medical specialists.
