Poland police recover stolen German vehicle and detain two suspects
Authorities in Poland have intercepted a stolen vehicle as part of ongoing efforts to combat automotive crime along the Polish-German border. On September 16, officers from the Zgorzelec Border Guard station, working alongside Jelenia Góra police, stopped a white Kia Proceed. The vehicle was identified in databases as stolen from Germany.
During the operation, investigators seized an electronic device believed to be used in the theft of this and other vehicles. Two men have been linked to the crime: a 48-year-old resident of Lower Silesia and a 51-year-old resident of Warsaw. One suspect has been placed under two-month temporary arrest, while the other is under police supervision and prohibited from leaving the country. The recovered Kia is valued at approximately 130,000 PLN.
