Poland infrastructure: New tenders for Busko-Zdrój transport center and CPK road network
Significant infrastructure developments are underway in Poland. In Busko-Zdrój, seven bids were submitted for the completion of a new transport center. The lowest offer, totaling over 34.3 million PLN from Erbud International, falls within the municipality's 34.5 million PLN budget. The project, which was interrupted due to the bankruptcy of the previous contractor, Anna-Bud, includes a five-level parking garage with 482 spaces, electric vehicle charging stations, and a bus facility. The project is 85 percent co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
In a separate major development, a consortium consisting of Mirbud and its subsidiary Kobylarnia has submitted the most favorable bid for the road network connecting the planned Central Communication Port (CPK) to the public road system. The bid is valued at approximately 507.6 million PLN. The CPK project is a strategic transport hub located near Baranów, intended to integrate air, rail, and road transport between Łódź and Warsaw. The new airport is scheduled to become operational by 2032.
